Free College Resources from Athivia

	The tremendous amount of advertising dollars being spent by full-tuition institutions to attract student attention creates an incredible awareness challenge for the open education and free education movements. As of August, 2010, Athivia College has been reconfigured as a free college resource site for students seeking free college resources as well as an OER open source curriculum resource for instructors and institutions using the Creative Commons platform. Athivia College has determined that the best way to achieve our goal of bringing free college programming to students is to devote our resources to the helping people access the following: free college options for students free curriculum for instructors design insight and engagement with institutitions Current programs will also continue to be supported for all previously registered students, who may log in here, however we will no longer be accepting new students as of August 17th, 2010. The OER, or open education resources, movement in the international community addresses specifically the value in collaborative and open source approaches to curriculum development. We are delighted to make our full course list available through these licenses and thereby contribute to the advancement of the larger learning community.
